Maybe I'm just ignorant, but isn't somatotyping just a huge pile of bullshit? I mean, we could say I used to be an ectomorph, but after actually putting on some muscle over the past few years, I resemble more of a mesomorph. I don't think anyone is "meant" to be big and strong(I'm talking bigger than your average Joe) as so many seem to think. For instance, the ectomorph idea and "hardgainer". Seriously, anyone who has ever lifted a weight is a hardgainer.

Maybe I'm way off, and have no idea what I'm talking about. If so, correct me.

The 'three body types' nowadays are used almost exclusively as excuses. I'm not big I'm an ecto! I'm fat as hell I'm an endomorph! 99.9% of the time it's just people who eat too little/too much or don't even train hard.

KISS principle apply it here kid, bust your ass in the gym, pay attention to your nutrition
and you will see results, and most of all do not limit yourself by saying I'm this type, I'm that type, believe in yourself and do you your best of what God gave you and work with it, and you will be amazed on what you can do!
