I bench with my feet heels raised these days, but when I did single-ply I kept them flat. I kept the same kind of mind set except I would have my feet out much wider than I do now. I think I can find a vids where my feet are different.

Awesome! That's very helpful. Thinking I'm gonna stick with flat feet for now. In case I ever compete again I want to ensure I'd comply with all federations

Good idea, for me since I've learned both it's a quick transition. I think it also might be a good idea to learn both as a little variation.

That's what I do. OMP coached me to have heels down and shins vertical. This allows you to push down through heels for stability and leg drive.
