Default From Newb to Monster

Hello forum! This will be where I keep all of my training logs located for now. Basically, I am doing this just to show people how much can change when you start out as being a new lifter that never touched a barbell and get on a protocol with proper nutition and all. For the last 3 months I have been doing ICF 5x5 and have really just been eating around 3300cal a day which was well over what I should have been. I am currently eating at 2500cal a day (My maintenance level is 2700 calories roughly as I ate at that level for about a month and gained no additional weight nor did I lose weight) as I want to lose some of my fat since it does bother me at this point, and I would like to be able to see the gains I make. So I guess you can consider this a 3 month old lifters log.

Weight: 199lbs
Height: 5'10.5"

Friday Workout:

Squats 225lbs 5x5
Deadlifts 265lbs 1x5 (switched to Over/Under grip)
Standing Should Press 105lbs (Failed on set 4)
Bent Over Row 105lbs 5x5
CGBP 115lbs 3x8
Barbell Curls 75lbs 3x8

Nutrition:
Breakfast: Out of eggs and turkey sausage
Protein shake and a banana

Lunch:
Baked Potato
Green Beans (3 servings)
8oz Chicken Breast

Dinner:
93/7 Ground Turkey 4oz
Subway Double Chicken Salad w/ sweet onion sauce (and a ton of banana peppers...I love them)

Snacks:
Protein Shake (its just ON Whey with 2% milk)
Chicken Biscuit
1 Cup of Ice Cream

Total Calories: 2420, 219g Protein, 71g Fat, 212g Carb, 29g Fiber (Fiber is extremely important to stay healthy)
Over a gallon of water a day

I was in Marching Band my freshman and sophomore year...amazingly enough we did lots of wall sits and calf raises in a non-traditional sense.

Great start. Keep pushing for your best each day and know that some days it won't be there, but move on and don't worry about it.

Marching band does wall squats and calf raises? Who knew?
