For Protien, i am a fan of Optimum Nutrition 100% Gold Standard Whey. I also use the M&S Whey Isolate.

x2 on

What are your goals.. Weight loss, Weight gain etc...

If your First starting off with supplements. Keep it very simple..

Protein and Creatine Mono..

Creatine...
http://www.muscleandstrength.com/store/

Here is solid Whey protein..
http://www.muscleandstrength.com/sto...y-protein.html

Whey is best taken after your workout. Whey will spike insulin levels. Just just use it once a day to help meet your Daily protein intake and relay on whole foods for the rest. No need to use anymore.

This is what I would recommend for starting off. Creatine and a Whey shake post post workout... thats it.

Thank you for the topic to discuss the fitness and bodybuilding.

Supplement is necessary for the production of bodybuilding or weight gain, but the supplements have no side effects and gives the best result in time. In my view some supplements are best followed for this purpose, then, are the Metadrol.

Personally, I maybe in the minority in this, but I don't think you need anything. If you get the proper protein intake, powders aren't needed. The problem for me is that I can't digest that much food constantly. Drinking a lot of milk helps me out with my intake but I learned that I needed powder since my job doesn't let me eat every 2-3 hours.

I really didn't care for creatine. I only used it from a buddy of mine who let me try it. I really didn't notice a big advantage to it but what I did notice was that it made me really jittery. I would be extremely shaky (like on a sugar high) but my head would be so cloudy and ADD like. I couldn't focus on a task. Maybe I got a shitty batch or maybe I just had a bad reaction to it but I never felt the urge to try it again.
There are a lot of experts in this area on this site so I would listen to them for advice but I would advise you to see where in your nutrition it needs "supplemented". After all that's what a supplement is for. Just my personal experience and opinion.

Just a note regarding the creatine. If you decide to try it, be sure to take it daily for at least 8 weeks, I would recommend even 12 weeks. It's effects come from building up in the system and then small enhancements in performance over many workouts.

I've heard way too many guys say, "yeah I took it one day, didn't notice any effects"
