Good work Booch. You have any videos recorded from the front? I would like to see if there are any small adjustments you could make to help you get a hair lower.

Glad you like the sleeves! Are they the SBD Sleeves? Proper depth will come in time, and when it does, you will love it!

Thanks BTB. I will record from the front next time and you can see what is going on. I think my legs are too parallel and not flaring out enough, but it will be good to see that.

Yes, they are SBD sleeves. I read quite a few reviews and took a while to figure out what size to order, but I think I got it right. Thanks for the advice. I was sore from yesterday's workout in the thighs, but not in the knees which was exactly what should happen.

I'm happy I joined this site. You guys are the best.

I used to be in the same boat as you a couple of years ago with depth, and now I can bury pretty much anything i squat. Keep doing the squat stretches daily and focusing on the form cues after un-racking. Squatting 2X per week will also help get the practice in.

One really cool benefit to squatting deep is that I don't have to do much Hammy work, as my hammies have doubled in size from deep squatting.

I was called on depth in Nov of 2012 at a World WPC Meet in Vegas on my opener. I had to bury my next attempt at 375, and I sank it, despite an injury to my right quad. I then proceeded to sink a 405. Ever since beong called on that opener, I have sank every squat since. It's devastating to be called on depth at a meet. It feels like a big waste and i found it embarrassing to some degree. At every meet since, I have seen countless guys get red lighted at meets for lack of depth. I, for the life of me, cannot understand why they don't learn depth. perhaps a bit of ego sets in.

Point is, is that depth, and consistency at it, is worth learning, and will ensure you enjoy squatting for a very long time.

12/16
Deadlift
Bar x 5
135 x 5
185 x 5
225 x 3
255 x 3
265 x 1
275 x 1

Barbell Rows
Bar x 5
135 x 5
185 x 5
190 x 5,5,3
195 x 3

Curls
Bar x 5
70 x 5
90 x 5
100 x 5
105 x 5,3,3

Felt very strong with DL and Rows, so I went up a few pounds and reps for each. My back has some catching up to the rest of my body, but I'm seeing good progress.
The Power Lifting shoes came in today so I worked out with them. They actually fit, which was a surprise. My left foot is a 12 and my right is a 10 and 1/2, so I have to get lucky, especially when I order them online.

Looks like the shoes were meant to be!

Curls were also excellent Chris! Always a treat to see a bit of extra progression on pulls. Nice.

12/18
1 Mile walk
stretch

Bench Press
Bar x 5
135 x 5
185 x 5
225 x 5
255 x 3
265 x 3
270 x 2
275 x 1 PR

Tricep Cable Press
75 x 10
85 x 8
95 x 6

Hit a PR of 275 with not much trouble. Getting it off the rack was the hardest part. I was able to use pretty strict form throughout which was encouraging.
I'll probably have to pick up some wraps eventually for my weak little wrists. Working all day, clicking a mouse and typing, gives me these bony little computer hands which make lifting decent weight a challenge. I know, life's rough.
