Thanks Rich!! Ya, they were deep and I loved it! Deep squats are sure making a big difference in my hammy size and strength.

I spoil myself with the meat cuz I can't spoil myself with anything else, especially ice cream!

Nope, even my skinny jeans fit. All my jeans have a relaxed thigh. You can get relaxed thigh in all the designer jeans. I have True religion and Rock revival jeans that fit just nicely!

SQUAT/BENCH

Firstly, I have now decided to go on a 3 day per week training regimen. I feel I need the recovery time. I will be squatting and benching 2X per week, and deadlifting every 10-11 days. On Wednesday's, I will be benching after squats. I feel I need to get used to/practice this as I always have issues benching after squats at meets. I guess you can say I am trying to address a weak spot.

Indeed, benching was more difficult for me tonight as opposed to going in fresh. It's sort of a practice how you want to play thing.

Tonight's squats are proof of what I am capable of doing when I am recovered, and in all honesty, I am just absolutely beyond extreme ecstatic. My form was spot on throughout - I do not think I can perform a squat much better. A big bonus is that the 2nd triple @405 felt kinda easy, and I could have had 4 or 5 reps. The double at 425 also felt relatively easy. I didn't triple that as I thought it was best to leave a little in the tank to build upon. ( Thanks to LtL for reminding me of that earlier today).

Oh what a perfect day.

I was a good boy and did my reps!

Thanks Alan!! Recovery days will serve me well, and will enable me to also hit the iron hard 3 days per week.

Thanks Big Al! It's nice that my mental game is so strong now, in that I am able to focus on cues rather than the weight after un racking, and I am not afraid of the heavy weight aanymore. I feel 100% confident I can and will squat anything I unrack.

The iron is there during my times of happiness, sadness and anger. The iron is there available through the 4 seasons and inclement weather. The iron is there to either comfort me or motivate me. The Iron manages to show me how strong I am or how humble I need to be. The iron does not yell, but it always demands respect. The iron is not a disciplinarian, but when disrespected, I feel it for a long time. The iron does not love or hate, but we definitely share a strong bond. And no matter how far I stay away or for how long, the iron is there, waiting to be lifted.
