Very very strong work Rich ... You definitely had more in tank. Last attempt @bench and DL just looked quite easy. 1200+ in next meet for sure ...

Indeed, at some meets there is no start command on bench - I should have told you that beforehand! No doubt it caused the grind as the 3rd lift was butter.

Looks like your hooked now just like the rest of us!!
Thanks Jim I had a great time, and it was nowhere near as intimidating as I feared it might be. I knew there was no bench command as they explained the rules prior to the meet, and I didn't do that on my first attempt. Just a brain fart plain and simple haha Just glad I was able to grind that sucker out. A fail there may have shaken my confidence!

Thanks btb! I liked the deadlift bar. Felt like it was really easy to break the floor with the weight.

Thanks Ravi! My plan had been to shoot for 1100 at my next meet, but now I have to shoot for 1200 haha!

Thanks Alan! I'm edging closer and closer to the 405/315/495 goal I set for myself! I see that happening in 2014

Awesome! Squats were easy. Third bench was easier than second! Deadlifts are ridiculous smooth. I need some of that. Great job KD. Very inspiring.

Congrats again Rich! All lifts looked smooth except for the...well...you know....brain fart. Everyone is allowed one brain fart every now and then. Your deads were real smooth. At least now you know what to expect. 1200 shouldn't be too hard. 1250 is a real possibility, too. Awesome job!

I meant to ask Rich - did you meet any body that may be able to lift with you or maybe coach you?
