Notes: Despite a really humid day at the gym, I had a good deal of energy and really managed to bang out a solid session. Everything was fast, easy, and pump-tastic today. Today really makes me feel confident going forward as I look to add a shit-load of weight on my bench press

Just noticed your journaal Henry - subbed for sure. When I saw rep day in your title, I was wondering initially what the deal was with the singles, but I see you did alot of rep work after-wards.

Thanks Jim! I need to work on my bench press form and the commands, so that's predominately why I did the singles.

I always lift fasted and have never gotten hungry during a session - I reckon lifting/exercise diminishes my appetite. Sucks about the speed of course, as I imagine you lifted in the AM as you had things to do, but you still moved some decent iron around.

My appetite gets revved up when I lift especially when I have some caffeine pre-workout. Not to worry, I've recovered

9/4/13: Bench Training highlights
Competition singles up to 195x1 2 singles

Incline Press

9/5/13 Anello Deadlift Cycle Week 1 highlights
Worked up to fast single at 395

Rack Pulls
315x5, 395x3, 430x2

Notes: Bench is coming along much better than before. My strength is better and the commands are starting to become second nature. Training with fellow powerlifters is definitely helping with feedback on my form. I also restarted my Anello cycle so that I could peak at the same time as one of my friend does as he prepares to do his next meet.

I hear you on this school thing. Its harsh. Nice work, an enjoyed the Anello cycle when i ran it. I think you'll have a good time with it.
