I did not do my aux bench day this week due the heat and the amount of work I have been doing. Friday we did rack pulls which went well
405x4 495x4 545x4 595x2 645x2. We did these off 4" blocks so they are low rack pulls. Finished with RDL's which really worked the hammy's.
Tonight we have a Bench and BBQ and my plan was to max out and see where I was.
225x5 255x2 275x1 300x1 315x1 335x1 355x1
355 is a 25lb PR and I may have had another 10lbs in me but I figured we could give that a shot in 3-4 weeks at the end of the program. If I can get the video I will attach it.
The owner the of the gym thought it would be fun to throw a bench shirt on so we did that and it was my first time. Felt really weird and it wasn't until I had 405 on the bar that I could touch my belly.. We will continue to use that in training and see where it goes. Squats on tap for Tuesday!
