Thanks guys. Here you go:

SQUATS

Stretching

Squats with straight bar
Bar x lots x 2
70kgs x 5
110kgs x 3
Add belt
150kgs x 1
170kgs x 1 Heaviest I've gone straight weight since hip injury
Add briefs
200kgs x 3
Add loose wraps
220kgs x 2
Add new suit bottoms
240kgs x 1
Tighter wraps
255kgs x 1

Was beat after this but managed:

Light band leg curls
2 x 50

Standing cable abs
2 sets of 25

Pleased with how that went. Raw squats were explosive and pain free. They felt the best they have since the injury. Still got another 2 weeks of the geared mesocycle but will do some more raw work after that. 240 was a little high so set-up to take 255 a little deeper. I stumbled as I walked back which didn't help. Managed to compose myself though and squatted it comfortably. I felt like I took it deep enough but looking at the video I'm still a little high. I'll get there.

Felt beat after the squats so did some light assistance and called it a day. Next week will go even heavier and add reverse bands to overload before trying to smash a depth PB on week 4.

Back in tomorrow night for reverse band bench, shirted and raw. May do some light recovery work later in the work gym as well.

The 255 looked to be the deepest of them all. Well done Al - I cannot imagine how difficult it is to hit a no doubt depth with that king of badass weight on your back. It also speaks volumes about your skillset and composure to recover after the stumble and get it done. Alot of guys would have been rattled too much.

Depth right now is about descending quicker and being a bit more explosive. Good news is my CNS is flying right now and the weights don't feel too heavy so I'm confident I'll get there soon and with no meet for a good few months, I have plenty of time.

Crazy strong. Glad your CNS is handling this.

The stumbling part...it's getting to the point where this is happening every other week for me. Just too damn dangerous at some point. Especially wide stance.

So you like the new suit? Like Jay I knew the stumble was coming but still expected you to fall as I watched it.... You did very well there to recover ,
The 255 never looked a doubt in terms of strength , that's a good sign

Hopefully going to be getting over to Windsor for a monolift session soon. Will be nice to not worry about walking around before squatting CNS feels great at the moment and hoping for a big lift tomorrow on bench.

The new suit fits great on the lower body but I need to get the straps shortened before I can put them up and feel the benefit. Stumble didn't really bother me too much. I felt really strong under that weight which is a great sign. Should be able to smash that to depth soon.
