The second day is definitely going a lot better. I didn't get my morning coffee, but that's okay. Ate a big stack of chicken, mushrooms and broccoli for lunch after I got done working. Plenty of almonds are going down the hatch, coffee with heavy cream is always delicious. Planning on hitting up another meal before going to work tonight and mixing up some whey and water to sip on during work. One of the things I'm not really a fan of in the book is the dependency on shakes. It's silly. I'm definitely taking more of a whole foods approach to it. I'll report in tonight. So far, no carbs! Woo!

Didn't have time to count so close today. I'm pretty sure I hit below 30g of carbs today. I've had a good bit of protein and fat, too. I'm bad at the counting macros thing. Today felt a little bit better than yesterday. Still a little lethargic, though. I'm ready to hit ketosis and smell like booze, yo!

No need to count on your low carb times, here is the easy formula. If it is leafy and green, eat as much as you want. If it is an animal muscle, eat it. If it is a fat laden animal product without lactose, eat it. If it has a shell, note a shell not a pod, eat it. There ya go, easy peasy.


Now go make Coach Cochran proud. RTR!

Day started off feeling pretty good. Got kinda depleted during training, but got all but one set. Strength is taking a hit from no carbs, but I'll survive. 8 more days. REport again later tonight.

Default Night 3/Morning 4 CBL prep

This is getting rougher day by day. Training heavy is probably speeding up the process, but I'm gonna try to keep it going for the ten days. Last night at work was rough. Things were irritating me more than normal and my mind was not as focused. I've been eating lots of meat, cheese, eggs, etc., as well as lots of spinach and arugula. Lots of fatty stuff to keep the hunger away. I have been snacking on almonds to keep the hunger at bay. Report later tonight.

Your doing it right. Day 4 or 5 you will feel great. Hiit can shorten it to 7 days I did 3 hiit sessions my first prep and I was keto in no time.

I've not been doing HIIT but consistently lifting heavy. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

Checked with ketostix today. I'm not in ketosis. It may be too soon, I'm just really hoping I haven't screwed it up somehow. I don't know how that could happen, but it is a fear. I do feel quite a bit better today as far as energy and all is concerned. I have lost the bloat and look very flat compared to usual. I think that's a good sign? Anyways, I'll shout at you all tonight.
