Not to be all down on these guys, but...
Logic suggests (to me) that a lot of variation and flavour can be had in a diet, without messing with the almighty macros, or whatever.
Soooo.... to my mind, they're doing it wrong. I know, I ain't no bodybuilder. Not even trying to be. But it strikes me as a bit like masochism, or something along those lines.
But hey, if they're happy living like that, it's all good.

I agree dray, the food doesn't have to be boring.
My families from the Canary Islands. More or less all my food is spanish dishes, yet I get all the protein, carbs, fats I need each meal. They're healthy and they taste great!
Its mainly rice dishes
