OD was robbed in 1990, both by a ridiculously cardio strongest man set of events, but also by god in that he never got to come back and win it. He might be the strongest to never win the worlds strongest man. Him and Gerrit Badenhorst both were unlucky to face the dominant strongman of their era. Capes, and to some extent Jon Pall are lucky Kaz was not invited for a few years.

Best meet lifts: Sq 150 Kg (330 lb), Bench 120 Kg (264), DL 160 (352) @89 Kg (197)
Best gym lifts: Sq 375, Bench 280 (pause), DL 385 @205 or less
