The crazy thing about my weight loss is that I'm STRONGER now at 210 than I was at 275lbs in high school, and I trained and ate like a beast in high school. I thought I was strong because I could clean my bodyweight at 275. . .now I can power clean my bodyweight for reps. The only thing that's gone down is my squat, but I'm also not sure how close I ever actually came to parallel back in the day when I could do 400+. I probably wasn't even close.

I'm quite skeptic how could someone gains nearly twenty pounds a month and not getting much fat, even with really hard training...
But from a strictly strength gains wise point of view, I wonder if aggressive bulking, followed by a progressive cut isn't a much more efficient solution to gain relative strength, than gaining weight progressively. The question is, is there a lot the strength loss during the cut for most people?
