Yeh 'frisbee player' doesnt really install the same amount of awe as 'powerlifter' when it comes to 'my dad's bigger than your dad' arguments...

Carl.

I can just see her on the playground, "my daddy can bench press your daddy for reps!"

At some point people stop believing you and your kids, and start to think you are crazy.

"My dad can rack deadlift 750."

Um, sure kid...

One of the more famous lifters who inspire me is Konstantin Konstantinov.
The guy's just a monster.

Being a raw lifter always gets my respect. Especially when he pulled four 837.75lbs deadlifts two years ago without a belt and whistles?

Yeah. Respect.

I am a big fan of Kirk Karwoski. The video of him squatting 1000x2 is unreal! I also meet Donnie Thompson last weekend, must admit he was extreamly down to earth.

It's hard to say which lifters inspire me the most. There are so many out there that are amazing to see and watch. But I would have to say my overall inspiring lifters would be my dad and my uncle they ate the two who first inspried me to get into weight training at a young age when I would watch them workout in my uncles garage. It was really old school style. No squat racks just barbells and weights and they would still do squats from cleaning it from the ground. I just remember shaking their hands and it would be like rock!
