Pause Squat: I usually take the first reps and just get a nice 1 count pause or so and then make the last rep a gut check/mental toughness rep.

Strong work! The first thing I ever do on deadlift/squat days is 2x10-15 with a 70lb DB for goblet squats. Nice way to get the hips loose, core stabilized, and some sweat going.

Ah yes. What I meant was, the rounding in the video I always thought was lower back and not the upper. If that is considered upper then I've been doing quite a lot of over thinking haha.
