Doesnt really matter, just get a few sets in . Sometimes you will want to go lighter than others. Sometimes we just do them timed for a mintue. The idea really is to just get blood into the arm.

I personally train curls just like any other lift: Heavy, with a focus on increasing strength. Anything between 5x5, 3x3, and sometimes even singles.

I've been giving reverse curls a run, they hit my biceps and forearms just like bench does. Some days I'll just stick with DB/hammer curls. 3 sets fairly light for high reps is what I've been doing.

I do 4-5 sets of hammers on back day and then again on leg day... so twice a week.
