Frequent heavy training

Not an earth shattering observation, but an important one for me.

Today I smashed a squat barrier that had given me fits for about 18 months. The weight felt insanely light and I crushed a big PR.

This difference was 4 months of consistent training about 85-90%. A little went a long way. Captain obvious I am sure.

It simply amazes me how in only 4 months a weight can feel dramatically different.

weights feel different day to day for me, so not hard to believe.

Ever since you had me doing 85% plus work on squats and bench I have seen both of those fly up in weight. Four months ago I didn't think I would be benching 300.

Way to smash cheesy!

Great work BtB. Training at 90-95% has given me some great results in the past 6 weeks, and its in no small part to the inspiration from your progress and logs.

How often did you deload in those 4 months?
Did you train 85-95% every Week?

I like it BtB! You have put in great effort in this, and I really like your program. Its brutal!

B, b, b, bu-, but... overtraining!

Awesome work mate, you, Faz and Silverback are tearing it up on this routine.

Every third week or every other week. Check out the "Increasing Strength" thread for some of our methods and madness.

I was training 90% above multiple times a week.
