If the bench press is the only lift that you do in competition, you're basically just a glorified gym-rat, not a powerlifter. Get back to me when you squat and deadlift in a meet. Until then, we can't compare totals because you don't have one.

Lads, you're both 'elite' at what you do. What's that old saying about apples and oranges? You focus on different things really so there's no point in comparing.
Personally, I would be thrilled to be able to accomplish either of what you guys have.

Haha. You're funny. You're right, I don't have a total, and we can't compare benches because you don't have one. Gain another 30-40 lbs and you can lift in a Mens division.

This will be my last post of hijacking this thread. Sorry guys, I had to reply to the first insult and it got out of hand.

Roger is one of the best benchers in the world. I have nothing but respect for him, the knowledge he has, his dedication to the sport of powerlifting, and his willingness to help others.

I'm just throwing this out there, the elite totals are WAY to low to be called elite. Also Mr. DW I may out weigh you a bit but a 16 year old beat your total with at the time a little less then a year of training. So get off your high horse and leave him alone, I actually have a magazine with him on the cover. I'm starting to wonder if the reason you don't add weight is because you are afraid to actually compete against some big guys. Again just saying.
