This was a really last minute meet and the majority of the people were only posting a qualifying total for the British singles in only 3 weeks time and passing their last lifts. Also, us NW lot had a 150+ mile round trip so not a lot hung around. But everyone was really friendly through the day and I spoke to a lot of experienced guys and everyone gets behind you. It's definitely an experience I look forward to having again, just with a lot more confidence.

so what is the plan for the next 12 months ? go up to 100kgs ? or stay at 90kg ?
My intention is to stick at 90kg's, I think it's the weight I'll be most competitive at considering my height and the bodyfat I'm carrying. If I struggle to stick at a leaner 90 then I'll go up but I doubt that will happen.

Just seen this out of the corner of my eye on the similar threads list. Seems crazy that this was 2 years ago. 22 months from this (1st Dec 2013) I added 57.5kg to my squat, 25kg to my bench and 55kg to my deadlift with some left on the platform. I'll take 137.5kg on my total in just under 2 years. Oh and 12kg to my bodyweight :/.
