Chains, kettlebels, lots of bars! I want to be there

I love hip thrusters... need to put them back in the routine. They're just so rough in the hip bone... need a good pad to do these comfortably

Yep, definitely need a pad when going heavy, but they are awesome.

That was my concern. We had a guy here who used to do them with 400+ so I figured to be somewhere in that ballpark if I ever tried them.

Ok..I'll ask..

WTF is this supposed to do? It looks like it could be taxing the whole body, core obviously, lower back too?

What if that bench to support the upper back slips, then you're F'ed bad...

Either way, that's a lot of weight to move...

  • In order, the hip extension exercises with the highest glute activation are the kneeling squat (67%), deadlift (55%), sumo deadlift (52%) and Zercher squat (45%).
  • In order, the hip hyperextension exercises with the highest glute activation are the single leg bent leg reverse hyper (122%), hip thrust (119%), pendulum quadruped hip extension (112%), bent leg reverse hyper (111%)

Been meaning to try these (or the upper back on the floor version) for months now, but never get round to it. Trying to find more/better posterior chain exercises.
