Default Steve's deadlift thread

I have decided to make a thread in honour of Steve's ludicrous deadlifting ability. He pulled an American record in his first meet:

And pulls more raw (not even a belt) than a lot of multi ply lifters do using "assistance".

So please, Steve, tell us how you do it? Are you a natural deadlifter? Have you always pulled well? How have you got to your various milestones: 4pps-5pps, 500lbs to 600lbs?
