Just the fact that the dude could control the bar on the way down was amazing.

1050lbs... ridiculous.

Did he actually get an attempt in? I couldn't tell you the last time he actually got a lift in at a meet. Guy is amazing strong, but it aggravates me that he bombs so much.

I know he didn't get it anyways but I don't understand why he didn't load up a little extra to beat Kennelly's record

I don't understand the question.

I thought others would like to watch a 1050 pound attempt.

ehubbard 12-05-2011 09:59 AM

Youtube is loaded with videos of him missing attempts and bombing out of meets.

BendtheBar 12-05-2011 10:02 AM

I don't follow him or most of powerlifting to be honest. This was posted on December 4th. Recent attempt so I posted.

I found it interesting to watch so I posted.

No doubt interesting. Lost wrist control at the bottom, thats why the dump(at least thats what I see). Guy is one of the greatest bench pressers ever. I understand why opening that heavy. If I had benched 1k, I wouldn't want to open with anything less than that. He isn't trophy hunting, but I would get sick of people making fun of me for bombing all the time haha.
