Great squat and awesome green weights.

impressive weight! I can't wait to see what the keyboard ninjas have to say...lol I hate to say it but anytime someone even attempts such weight, it's like the ISP (Internet Squat Patrol) come out of the woodwork.

They are already hating. 15 likes and 61 dislikes on Youtube.

I would bet 90% of the haters either don't squat, or do 1/8th squats.

Respect the iron, and the men who move it. Everyone else is just playing pretend.

Hate on the judges, not the lifter.

@BTB, why does that not surprise me...YT is full of them. Honestly it makes me sick because as you said many don't squat or do partial knee bends. Honestly, I wouldn't know how to act under that much weight, the pressure is immense I would imagine!

@LTL, that's where the hate should be aimed if they want to hate. But then again many of those "haters" think Smith machine squatting is better than free weights.

All I know is that 500 on my back is heavy. It provides a perspective for how difficult 1265 actually is.

Nuff said.

Mr.Silverback 11-06-2011 01:36 PM

Indeed brother, 500lbs is not a walk in the park so the perspective is quite clear! Hats off to any person putting 1200+ on their back.

Just unracking half a ton is an acomplishment few people can manage. Always impressed by this kind of awesomeness!
