Oh, God. There are a ton of guys at my gym who use smith exclusively for bench. They all start with their arms straight up and down and come straight down from there. At the bottom it's a mess of flaired elbows, untucked shoulders, and flat backs.

The crime is not so much that he trains in such a fashion, but that he's teaching others that it is a superior way to work. He should be called out for such things before he has a chance to influence more young lifters.

He is on a forum. I spent half my waking hours this week trying to politely show him some of his form errors. The result was a bragging post about how he deep squats 353 x 3 x 8 at a 140 bodyweight.
