As Steve stated, and I dont know the ins or outs or whys, but they have me doing tons of GHR's, weighted back extensions, revers hypers, band abs, things like that multiple times a week. Now that I think about it, no quad assistance work.

I'm a powerlifter and I have always done quad work because of the correlation of squatting and deadlifting. I was taught when I began in high school to never neglect one muscle over the other. Anatomically speaking work both posterior and anterior equally. Never realized how some powerlifters would neglect quads or biceps for that matter...lol I say do every variation of squats possible to completely benefit from them.
