MHP King of Bench 2011 Videos

Some awesome benching here. Check out the bar speed on Siders' lifts

The vid's are long but quite entertaining:

I was there and I thought the bar speed was equally (if not more) impressive on Solvi Peterssun's lifts.

He's an animal as well. Didn't seem phased by the miss on his first attempt after he didn't wait for the rack command. With Siders though the bar goes down at lightspeed as well though. He stuffs it right into his belly and then slams it up. Awesome. Big Rob Wilkerson is an animal as well. Dunno what happened on his last attempt, maybe just a step too far.

You're quick in posting these.

I had an email about these videos not 10 seconds earlier. I checked the forum and they were posted already.

I found them earlier but had to go out before I could post.

As you could see on my farmers walk videos, I'm quick when I need to be :mh:

They've also got the "lightweight" division posted as well:

And the bench-for-reps competition:

And here's the part we've all been waiting for. The deadlift competitions:

And the 575lbs (they intended to put 600 but only ended up with 575) deadlift for reps challenge:

Just curious. These guys are light years stronger than me of course.

But, is it just me or did a lot of these guys just rely on sick lower back strength?

How many really got their ass down and jacked up in reasonable form? Not many, in my opinion.

Of course, then again, they lift orders of magnitude beyond what I can do, so there you go.

Still, I wonder.
