OK, if you do lose a snatch, do it backwards! Ride your arms backwards as far as you can and dump it behind you, way behind your back if possible. Certainly no drops on your lower spine. That can't be good, avoid it.

And with collars on the weights. Seriously. Collars people! Do I need to say more?

Not like this then??





I wondered why he so gingerly stepped over the black area then read a poster's comment in which they'd stated that if he dropped it on the black area it would have just gone straight through the floor, so I'm guessing he was hoping he didn't go through with the loaded barbell overhead.
