Default Grip Strain

I have been dealing with some sort of grip strain in my left hand for the last 3 months. It's not painful, but rather feels weak during primarily bench presses and overhead presses. It makes it really hard to train with over 80% of my 1RM.

Anyone ever experience this sort of injury?

Steve, earlier this year I was having a problem squeezing with my right hand. Annoying to say the least. A massage therapist found a muscle knot in the deltoids area that was limiting closing my hand with force. I did not have pain but like you described it felt weak.

Interesting. I have been having tenderness in my left shoulder for several months prior to this.

This is great info. Maybe I have a delt knot also. I'll have to massage it and see if that helps out.
