ha i know i was just kidding. but yeah if you structure your assistance well and just bust ass on the main lifts you'll see mass gains :mh:

I'm not familiar with 5/3/1. But I feel if you push reps with substantial poundage you will develop strength along with mass (with this I mean I don't train for size, I just want to move as much weight as possible. In which I have developed both size and strength). Ive been hitting a modified Westside for a while now, I want to give my joints a break and I talked with Steve. I was looking for a decent hypertrophy cycle to run for 8 weeks after my current cycle, I had some 5/3/1 suggestions and a few others. I have settled for one of Steve's creations to preserve my strength gains and hopefully add some substantial mass. Here is a link to it if you are interested, 4 Day Power Muscle Burn Workout Split | Muscle & Strength. I plan on reading over 5/3/1 so I can engage in a more informed discussion with you guys...lol
