As long as they don't come past the mid-thigh, they qualify. I'm about 150lbs...don't know if you have any that size.

If you could send me one, that would be fuking awesome. I can PM you my address.

4. You're openers should be something you can rep 3-4 times, second attempts should be in you're 1-2 rep range, 3rd attempt...Go for broke.
Good information man, when you take the 1 week recess do you completely remove all conditioning or should you go for some light sessions in between?

Personally I don't do nothing except some light stretching. I know some people that go for light sets during that week. It's all just personal preference.

UPDATE:

It looks lie I won't be able to go to the meet, guys. I would like to, but it's not working out. For one thing, my sister has a figure competition the weekend before, and my parents said that the cost of both so close together would be too much. Also, I don't have a belt, chucks, chalk. etc. so my parents said it would be better if I went to a meet later this year instead.

There's one coming up in August I could prep for; but this one's a no-go.

Thanks a lot for all the replies and advice, though. Hopefully I'll be a bit more prepared next time around.
