BTW, I'm by no means an expert. There are far wiser people than myself. I like to keep things as basic as possible, and not overthink a situation, unless it really requires it.

Thats one of the things I love about classic style barbell sports. Keep it simple, and lift. Besides that, it works because it is so simple.
Thanks man. I cant wait to get back to lifting man. You and BTB are close to experts as it gets no offense to every one else im just pointing out the two guys that make these informational posts (gl and btb)

Coop your program has some good ideas in it but the reg park routine is simple and proven effective. I think you should stick to it as is for a while and then you can decide to tweak it a bit. I guarantee if you give this routine a shot you will get good results. Reg park was a monster and I think you should stick to a basic plan for a while and by a while I mean 6 months or so. Get a good base to grow from.

Whatever you choose, progression is key make sure you keep track of your numbers closely and improve each workout

I just read some of the casey butt routine that GL posted and it looks great also. This is a very detailed program for a beginner to follow, if you do everything that he says you will do great things. You seem like the kind of person that will constantly be looking for change, so this program could be good for you. Just make sure you stick with it and stay consistent.

I am until april 15th and then im getting in the gym. In a year or so I will probably get myself a nice home gym and quit the 25 dollars a month gym experience. Dont get me wrong 25 dollars a month is actually cheap but a good 1,500 dollars will get some nice equipment that will last a long time and will add up to save more than the 25$ a month.

To answer your question: Im gonna renew my gym membership.
