I tried the chicken shake, sort of bland but still not tasty! I once actually mixed whole milk and cooked steak in a blender, didn't bother trying it, just knew better lol.

As for quick buck quick gainers I remember being in high school and having little money, so I would eat tuna out of the can and drink the water in the can as well... I would have protein drinks made in the morning to bring with me, each with whey, oatmeal and peanut butter in it. I would eat almonds throughout the day and make sure my meals were always at least 1000cals...

Default treats

I like to mix about 2-3 tbs. of peanut butter with a scoop of chocolate protein powder, then add just enough water to mix it up. Put it in tupperware or even a sandwich bag and take it to school with you. It's a great bulking treat that's low carb and perfect pre-workout in my opinion.

If you are not carb conscious, another simple treat is chocolate whey, oats, and a scoop of instant coffee. Keep it all dry in your shaker until time to mix it.

Can't say I agree with doing cardio, especially long distance running in addition to baseball, but one or two shakes consisting of five or six scoops of whey and three or four table spoons of olive oil mixed in water will help pack on the muscle a little better than chocolate.

Sounds a bit high unless you already weigh 250+lb.... just my opinion...

I think for hard gainers or new guys the best bet is to drink a whole lot of water, a whole lot of milk, avoid simple sugars, eat a lot of meat and starchy carbs and not be afraid of fat!!! So many guys avoid fat when it's sugar they should be running from!!!

Well remember we all need different things, but I can remember being 19 and coming up and trying to grow... already had a solid base size but didn't have any muscle whatsoever, so it was a long road... I remember mixing my whey with heavy cream instead of milk, drinking the water in the cans of tuna and going through roughly 5lb of total food a day... it's a process but trust me man you will see the pay off soon enough.... just be patient!!
