the hip drive guy seems to be exaggerating alot... his hips are raising wayyyy faster than his torso. shouldn't they be moving at relatively the same rate? the end of his squat is basically a good morning

It takes some practice to get a good balance. I think he is working on hip drive so it looks a little off.

Mentally just connect with...ass up, hips forward instead of...chest up, leg press.

Sometimes I have to exaggerate my hip drive to get mentally back on track. That's one of the downfalls of only squatting once a week...it becomes easy to forget form.

Mentally for me it's...descend tight (stay tight), slight bounce in hole, ass up, hips forward. That's what I think while squatting.

i found that for me if i'm in the rack if i use the pins and set the weight on them and then drive it is alot easier for me to get my hip drive first rather than standing back with the shoulders first.
