Thanks Rick. I try to be a student of good form. I know my bench is nothing compared to the powerlifters, but I keep working at it. Still have a lot to learn.

I would if the shoulder/elbow strain wasn't killing me. Head up pushes my shoulders back, and I'm already at my flexibility limit. Right now the strain is so bad that holding the bar is a big issue.

I appreciate the advice but my old body doesn't like to cooperate.

I haven't got the video yet of my last meet, but I totaled 1064 in a USAPL sanctioned meet, does that qualify?

I'll get the video in the next few weeks from a friend who taped it, and post here.

^^^ agreed, Steve your max lifts are for a good number of reps you could bump your numbers up by just maxing with 2-3reps
