Default Bench PR

A few weeks ago, getting ready for APF Worlds, coming up in November, I partially sprained my knee. I was planning on trying to hit a PR squat of over 1,100 lbs. but that looks meek now. I will be lucky to get into the 900 lbs. range by meet time.

So I guess it's time to PR on the bench. I'm looking to be the first of our team to hit 700lbs. If I can hit 710 lbs. it would be the federations world record for my age and weight class.

Not really a PR, but I'd like to post anyways.

Squat 185 3x3. Deadlift 185 2x5(each rep explosive, but not as fast I was). That's the first I've deadlifted since being diagnosed with mono. My technique all seems the same on everything except my stance is a bit weird on squats. I think my ankle mobility is probably pretty bad right now. These weren't necessarily hard or easy. Taking it slow and at a low frequency so I don't mess myself up. This workout did have me worn out so, this is come back PR.

11th time I ever deadlifted and hit 255 today. I didn't get all the reps in I wanted, but I have put 100lbs. on the bar since I started. Proud of myself.

That is exceptional progress and dedication. Those that succeed in the long run usually start fast out of the blocks like this. They want it and go get it.
