I'm like, totally spamming both this thread and my dying log, or at least this once, the previous post, and one more soon.

Today I scored a ~330lbs squat, going well below parallel.

This, too, is a major PR.


Bench to follow (and looking to be on track for that 1000lbs total, within approximately 1 year of training, all up). Well, soon.

Heh, 1000 might be juuust a bit further off than I wanted it to be. But thanks, mate.

Still, hit 100kg on da bench about an hour ago. It's not the calculated 1RM of 105, but it's "two plates" in this country, so I'm happy for now.


edit: Now I'm done spamming this thread. All maxed out for the time being.

Give yourself some credit! A PR is a PR, and if you're getting them it means you're moving in the right direction. I remember being very excited about getting my first 1000lb total about 1 1/2 years ago, and now I'm way past that. Just get Your PR's and you'll be surprised where you'll end up not too long from now.

Yeah, you're right. It's always an ongoing process.

The estimated 1RMs would have got me to ~1001lbs, which is kind of neat. But still, it'll only take an extra ~30lbs all up, to reach that now. Shouldn't take long, indeed.

Deadlifted 405x7 on Friday. I was only going to do 3, but each rep was too easy. 500 should be more than possible once I get used to handling heavier weights. BW of 200.
