Default Rumble Roller

This past weekend I competed at the Mr. Olympia Pro Powerlifting comp in Vegas. For a few weeks prior to this I have been have some low back issues which are intensified when I spot some that dumps a benchpress. This past weekend it happened again when I was spotting one of the best lifters on the planet two flights before mine. This time, I dislocated a rib on the right side. The pain was intense trying to get off the bench, but tolerable while I was benching. That's the bad of it....Now the good.

They had a chiro at the meet that snapped my rib back into place. Instantly much better, but still low back pain. I discussed what happed to Mike Bridges. Anyone familiar with PL will know him. Mike directed me to "Jeff" at the Rumble Roller tent. Jeff Alexander worked me over with the "Rumble Roller" and " Beastie Ball". My back was better, but still on great.

Today, I received my roller which I purchased that the Expo. After working with it and Beastie ball for about another 1/2 hour......My low back pain is GONE!!!! I'm sure this will be a temporary for now, but I believe with a weekly program of using this thing it will help tremendously. Just wanted to put this out there if anyone else is having similar issues.

P.S. I am not sponsored by or receive anything from the Rumble roller peeps.

Very cool. I've tried myofascial release before and it always feels good, but I didn't see any help with performance. I'm sure that will change as I get stronger...and older.

I've got one in my office that I point to people to use on they're flutes and tfl's. Works good! Doesn't fix but adds to the solution.

I certainly don't think it will make me stronger, but easing some of the aches and pains will help, no doubt. The less pain you have, the longer you will train = getting stronger....I hope.
