Default Share random little things that you have recently learned.

I thought it'd be nice and maybe even helpful for some to have a thread where everyone posts things they've recently learned. For example:

I've always found my wrist wraps quite uncomfortable, untill recently I found out that pulling them less tight but covering more area (so farther up your hand and down your wrist) makes it more comfortable while still offering good support.

(This one might not be for everyone)
Instead of trying to bend your body as much as possible, focus on getting wherever you touch the bar on the bench press as high as possible. I personally find this a way better 'cue' on how to arch.

Bring your belly to the bar. Works very well for me as well!

Ok, here's my little thing- If you always here about something working well for other people but it isn't working for you, you may just need to find that last little tweak that makes it work. Don't give up on something too soon if you have good reasons to believe it'll work.

Take that as you will.

Instead of moving the bar, move your body. Push yourself away from the bar when you bench, get that adrenaline, danger, gtfoutta here dont get crushed senses going.

I was horrible about thinking about the bar path when deadlifting, when I just need to stand up correctly.

Focus on keeping your wrists over your shoulders and the bar should automatically touch your chest at the appropriate place on bench.
