That is nuts. That kind of power under those circumstances is truly super human. But lifting with broken ribs is a really bad idea and I have no idea how he was allowed to continue.

he probably signed a release form so anything that happened to him was under his own liability so if he wanted to continue and got even more hurt the meet people wouldnt be held accountable.
