One thing i noticed that boyle seems to have forgotten is neurological efficiency increase on uni-lateral exercises

Boyle seems obsessed with turning it into a lower back movement. I understand that there is the possibility that when the movement gives, the lower back might be the weak link.

But for me...and anyone that lifts the butt then drives with the hips, my sticking muscle is hip strength. I can almost always raise my ass in the hole to start the lift, but when I fail it's almost always from a lack of hip drive.

Maybe I'm a freak of nature, but I just don't believe that the lower back is the weakest link unless you're a beginner or possibly intermediate.
