Best Meet Lifts:
Squat = 325
Bench = 210
Dead = 353
Total = 888

The iron is there during my times of happiness, sadness and anger. The iron is there available through the 4 seasons and inclement weather. The iron is there to either comfort me or motivate me. The Iron manages to show me how strong I am or how humble I need to be. The iron does not yell, but it always demands respect. The iron is not a disciplinarian, but when disrespected, I feel it for a long time. The iron does not love or hate, but we definitely share a strong bond. And no matter how far I stay away or for how long, the iron is there, waiting to be lifted.

I've got one 110 to the shoulder, but can't imagine pressing two of them.

I don't know what you are considering a clean from the floor but I regularly do standing dumbell OHP with 100s. I guess you could say I hand clean them into place. I don't currently have access to anything over 100 so I usually stick to sets of 5-10 with them depending on prior OHP movements.

5-10? And you do them after your other OHP movements?? Wow. That's really impressive. My one single, solitary rep nearly killed me.

Cleaning from the floor - I pick them up from the floor to about thigh height, then swing them up to my shoulders in one graceful, fluid movement

Well, that's what it looks like in my head.

hah, this reminds me of the introduction to Pavel's book Beyond Bodybuilding:

The rules are simple: the fist must be lower than the chin at the start of the press and the knees must remain locked. You don't even have to clean the bell because I do not want any of the 'this is all technique' whining. We'll hand it to you if you insist.

Let us face it, pressing eighty-eight pounds overhead is not a feat of strength. Definitely not for a two hundred-fifty pound man. Yet the overwhelming majority of the big sissies just can't do it. And that is the ones who at least try. Most are plain scared. I call out to the passing muscleheads: 'Do we have a man here?' Most flinch and keep walking. Whenever my challenge was ignored I would smile sweetly and say, 'Sir, I understand. Not all forms of exercise are right for all people. Perhaps you would like to check out Jazzercise over there?'"

I keep meaning to read that book.

But one difference is that Pavel was calling people out, whereas that wasn't my intention. I know there are plenty of guys on MAB who are way stronger than I am

Not sure. I have clean and reg park pressed 2 40s for sets of 6-8 and I'm stronger now but I can't say for sure if I could clean them. That's the awkward part for me.
