Heaviest known Zombie Squat?
 
Anyone know what the heaviest filmed or at least documented zombie squat is?

Thanks Chuck. I am going for 435-455 by the end of the year (2012 into 2013); After my powerlifting meet in November, I am sure people have done them heavy before but it would be cool to be the first person on youtube to hit 500lbs and start a trend.

I thought the same thing, what the heck is a zombie squat? They have them on the YouTube. Its a front squat with the arms held straight out in front of you and the bar being held over the front of shoulders. At least that's what it looks like to me in the vids.

They are great for teaching form in the front squat because no grip is used which is how the hands should be utilised in the front squat as well, so, by the time you've mastered these and not using your hands, very little pressure is put on the hands when they're finally used.
