Default Can't do press behind neck you say....

-Find power rack.
-Set pins/hooks to appropriate height.
-Find grip sweet spot on bar.
-Go into split stance with bar behind neck.
-Duck under bar slightly.
-Put bar to ear level.
-Lock arms and un-rack bar
-Hold position and step back.
-Starting position should be ear level.
-PRESS!! (don't go lower than ears on way down)
-Put bar on traps when done and rack bar.
-Repeat.

I had an AC joint seperation on my right shoulder, and that's how I do them pain free.

Love BHNP1 I usually do them seated due to lower lumbar issues. I will have to give your method a try.

I do them seated as well. Never get below the knot on the back of my head. Find it to be a great movement!

I'm really liking the BTN push press these days. Going to start loading up on these babies soon.

When you're doing presses standing, contract your glutes the enitre time you're pressing. That protects your lower back.
