Default Does Water Temp Matter?

Does it matter what temp you drink water during your workouts? I love ice cold water during a workout but was told it was not good for me.

Actually, Dr. Darden (HIT Guru) says to drink ice cold water because it burns more calories; It takes energy to warm the water to the proper temperatre. So, who knows...drink it how you like it.

it burns an extra like 4 calories at most. just take an extra 2 steps to your car, you'll burn more than that.
drink your water at whatever temp you want.

1 kcal (what we call calories) will increase the temp of 1 liter of water 1 C, if anyone is interested in the conversion. So yeah, not a huge increase in calories burned.
