Default Salmon

I was wondering about salmon. My family loves to eat it but I have heard a lot about you need to know where it came from. Does it matter if it was from a so called salmon farm? Or where should I be looking to get salmon from? I could get it from behind the meat counter, would that be better than the frozen stuff we usually buy?

If you have a choice, always go for wild caught. Farm raised are usually fed a grain based diet and tend to not be as high in Omegas as the wild caught.

My family eats salmon and we always buy the wild caught. It could cost you more sometimes but the taste is so much better.
