Default Omega 3s

Which one of these has the higher omega 3~ fish or plants? I want to know so I can get the right supplement. I would say fish but I know that flax seed has a lot of omega in it as well.

Fatty fish is the best source for omega-3 fatty acids because it contain the two rarer forms of omega-3: eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Most plant-based sources only contain alpha linoic acid (ALA), which is converted by the body into other forms of omega-3. Although it is unknown whether one form of amino acids is better than another, the simple truth behind "everything in moderation" lends credence to trying to get a balance of these three omega-3 fatty acids.
