100g of bread has less carbs than 100g of toast which leads people to believe that toast is therefore lower in carbs which it is per 100g, however, one slice of bread has the exact same amount of carbs in it before it has been toasted as it does after it has been toasted...though, after toasting, it will weight less, due to a percentage of water weight having been cooked out to get the end result of toast.
So, go by the nutritional values on the packet of bread, and use them for both untoasted and toasted.
