Yeah definitely, fat and protein go a long way toward keeping me full. Plus I just generally feel better.

I think carbs are highly individual. Some guys do really well on carbs while others can't seem to handle too many. If I keep my carb intake at a moderate level, I feel great. Too little or too many and I feel like crap.

I actually completely agree, but I eat all my carbs after training. I never have carbs before training or it causes me to experience extremes both high and low as far as energy and hunger. Fat and protein keeps me on an even keil, then after training I get my carbs for the day to make sure my glycogen levels stay up.
