Part of my study for personal training is nutrition. Anyway the lady who takes the nutrition has studied it at University and used to be a pro athlete (in a weighted sport) and used to train pro athletes.
Anyway, she was talking about post workout nutrition, and she said one of the best post workout drinks is chocolate milk. Not that pre made chocolate milk. She was saying if you melt high cocoa chocolate in milk, you will get an amazing post workout nutrition. It has the protein content from milk (one of the few complete sources of protein) and some carbs.
What is everyones thoughts on this?
